The Work Beneath the Wait

Nov 16, 2025    Matt Willingham

This sermon, based on Exodus 14:10–14, explores how waiting on God is not inactivity but divine development. When the Israelites faced the Red Sea with the Egyptians behind them, fear made them forget God’s past faithfulness. Yet, God was working the way, working the heart, working the strength, and working the miracle behind the scenes. Waiting reveals what God is shaping in us, not just what He’s preparing for us. The message challenges believers to see delays as part of God’s design—where weakness births strength, faith replaces fear, and God receives all the glory when the breakthrough comes.
