What to Expect

Our services are energetic, welcoming, and centered on helping people connect with God in a real, relevant, and relational way. You can expect live worship, practical and biblical teaching, prayer, and moments designed to encourage and strengthen your faith. Services typically last around an hour and fifteen minutes, and the atmosphere is relaxed and engaging. Whether church is familiar to you or completely new, you can participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

We believe church should be a great experience for the entire family. Our kids and student ministries provide age-appropriate environments where young people can have fun, build friendships, and learn about God in ways they can understand. Our team will help you through the check-in process and make sure you know exactly where your children are going. Safety is a priority, and our trained volunteers work hard to create secure, welcoming environments for every child and student.  
Our main Jr High and High School ministry time takes place on Sunday Nights at 6pm.  However on any given Sunday you will see our services full of students, who are passionate and pursuing God.  We will the next generation is not just the church of tomorrow but is the church of today

We want every person and every family to know there is a place for them at Heartland. Our Sunshine Buddies are caring volunteers who have been trained to support both children and adults with disabilities and sensory needs, and they have a genuine heart for helping each person feel comfortable, included, and known. Whether someone needs extra assistance, a calmer environment, help navigating the building, or simply a trusted person to walk alongside them, our team is ready to help.  Our Sunshine Buddies are here and ready to serve you and your family each week.

From the moment you arrive, our welcome team will be ready to help you find your way and answer any questions you may have. We love meeting new people, and don’t take it lightly that you choose to be out guests. We’ll never embarrass you, ask you to stand up, or put you on the spot, and we will do our best to help you get connected. You’re welcome to take everything in at your own pace. Our goal is for you to feel welcomed, not pressured.

Come as you are! At Heartland, you’ll find people dressed in everything from jeans and T-shirts to business casual, and even some suits. There’s no dress code and no pressure to look a certain way. We want you to feel comfortable and focus on experiencing God and connecting with people.
