Avoiding Sandy Foundations

This sermon, based on Matthew 7:24–27, challenges believers to examine what foundation they are building their lives upon. Jesus contrasts the wise builder, who not only hears His words but also puts them into practice, with the foolish builder who neglects obedience. Storms reveal what lies beneath—intentions are not enough; only a solid foundation in Christ can withstand life’s pressures. Building on the Rock means living in trust, surrender, and daily dependence on Jesus. While faith doesn’t make us storm-free, it makes us storm-proof when our lives are anchored in Him.
